pregnancy and kidney stones?

i recently went to the ER complaining of lower right back pain. it woke me up and i started crying instantly..VERY PAINFUL! i got admitted and stayed in labor and delivery all night, they did a cathiter, and in the morning i got an ultrasound on my kidneys...they sent me home saying its just pain from being pregnant and pretty much told me to deal with it..(my dr was in surgery and was too busy for me) i work at an urgent care and the doctor saw me hunched over a few days later in pain..he got my ultrasound report and said that he thinks i definately have kidneys stones..
So for the past 7 days in have been in the worst pain i have ever felt and can only take tylenol and ive been using a heating pad...im miserable...
-what is the pain from?
-are the stones still in my kidneys?
-how long am i going to have this pain?
-do they normally pass by now?

I had kidney stones earlier. they dont pass on by themselves unless they are very small. you will need medication and proper treatment. i know pain is terrible. hope you will be able to deal with it. you would need to get proper doctor and get over with it. its better to get treatment asap as these can start infection too.
