kidney stones in children
What's the most physical pain you've ever been in?

No, I'm not a masochist.

For fun, let's exclude child birth and kidney stones.
I'm so sorry to hear about all of this. I don't know what I was thinking when I posted this. Good luck to all of you and I hope you find treatments for your daily struggles.
Thanks for some of the more uplifting answers too.

When I was 18 I slipped and fell and destroyed my neck, the pain was incredible! At 36 I finally had to give in and have surgery (the 1st of two fusions) when I lost all use of my left side arm & leg. I now have cavdaver bone on two levels of my neck and a metal plate to hold it all together, I still drop things and drag the left foot when I get real tired and am in pain mgt for the rest of my life to get by. I have only known pain since 18 I am 47 now, does that count? The Dr's say it will only get worse till eventually I will be paralized from the neck down, but for now I keep going and working I have to I have people who depend on me and it is really all I have ever known.
