kidney stones kub
Kidney Stone Removal question .....?

My husband successfully underwent an endoscopy-lithotripsy operation for a right ureteric stone. The stent was removed after 2 weeks when the ultrasound, KUB X-ray & serum creatinine level were all Normal.
It is now 5 days since the stent-removal.
However, he has since been having pain &/or pain-like sensations intermittently, in the lower back to buttock region.
The urosurgeon said it could be some remnant dust.

Is this expected ?
How long will it take to flush out this dust ? He is religiously drinking almost 5 litres of water daily, besides a Urimax tablet at night.
Have you had any similar experience ?

Please help. We are at our wit's end & are considering consulting the doctor again or seeking another opinion.

Mix 2 ounces (30 ml) of lemon (or lime) juice and 2 ounces of olive oil.

It'll make some kind of salad dressing/vinaigrette.

Have your husband drink it (not very tasty but hey) + a glass of water. It should flush the stone painlessly in the next 24 hours, sooner even.

The acid juice should dissolve the stone while the oil lubes the kidneys tubes so it passes easily.
