Blood in urine.. kidney stones or infection?
I am pregnant and they did a urine test and saw that there was blood in my urine. I know most people are going to assume it's a UTI, but I had one with my last pregnancy and it was nothing like this. I have pain in my LOW right groin area, almost like a burning feeling. Sometimes I can feel a sharp/stabbing pain there as well. No pain with urination though. I have had back pain (right hand side, low-hip area), but I was in a car accident and am being treated for that, so I just assumed it was pain from the accident. I'm just wondering what the signs/symptoms are and if anyone else has been in this situation. Thank you for your time.
I am going in tomorrow to have bloodwork done, but I'm not sure what they're going to check for. It's just a normal pregnancy blood test as far as I know. Can they identify kidkney stones/infection with a standard blood test?
hi it sounds like you have a really bad infection i dont think its kidney stones but theres always that chance of the stones so try to greatly reduce your calicum intake
