I had a ureteroscopic kidney stone removal a couple of days ago, surgery went fine and I'm recovering well, however the doctor had to put a stent inside me. He told me that I could take it out on Monday myself. I figured it was something that would have to be done at the doctor's office. Has anyone had this done before, and if so, is it painful to pull it out yourself? Also, I was prescribed Endocet 5/325 for pain, and it causes me to itch a bit, behind my ears in particular. No other side effects to speak of aside from the itching, but should I be concerned about it? I have been given the same medication in the past (for hernia repair) and it did the same thing, caused me to itch but nothing more, aside from the mild euphoria etc. that is associated with that particular medication but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.
